During my short trip, I didn't not do any sight-seeing despite planning to visit a few tourist destinations in Singapore. Thus not taking much photos at all. But what I did take are
FOOD!
Mr. Bean soya bean milk
The best thing about being back in Malaysia and Singapore is the variety of food. The first day of the trip, I craved for soya bean milk. It was harder to find than I had expected. Neevertheless, the hard work was paid off when I saw Mr. Bean (
that's the store name, not related to the British Mr. Bean). Anything and everything soya bean. I ordered soya bean milk with grass jelly and pancake. Yummy for breakfast!!
pancake? with red bean filling
While in Kuching, my awesome cousin brought us to The Spring and Boulevard shopping malls. In between, we went to a malay coffee shop for snack. The snack is none other than roti canai! Mouth-watering roti planta and roti telur!! It is at this coffee shop that I first tasted wheatgrass c. Basically it is wheatgrass drink with milk. It is green in colour but really tastes better than it looks. For those who doesn't know what wheatgrass is,
wheatgrass is the young grass of a certain type of wheat plant which is claimed to have nutritional value. I would want to include photos but sadly I didn't bring camera with me. :(
Back at home, mom cooked festive dish for us since we weren't at home for chinese new year:
Shark fin dish
Baked stuffed crab
Stir-fry dou miao (pea shoots) with abalone mushroom
Century Egg eaten with preserved leeks
Preserved leeks
One of the dinner, mom cooked chicken soup with abalone. The next day I cooked noodles for breakfast using the left-overs soup.

I had other dishes and food which I didn't take photos of. :) I definitely have enjoyed eating during this trip!
